NEW* Autologyx Catalyst 1.12 release notes
We know how important performance, security, and long-term stability are to our clients, especially in industries where every second counts and data privacy is non-negotiable. That’s why this release focuses heavily on upgrading our entire frontend technology stack and our backend runtime, modernising core packages and eliminating legacy dependencies to give you a faster and more secure experience end to end.
Over the past weeks, we’ve modernised and cleaned up over 40 core frontend packages and our build tooling.
The most impactful changes include
- Upgraded to React 18
- Redux 5 + Redux Toolkit
- Modernised routing
- Introduced React Query
- Removed legacy dependencies (e.g., reactstrap, react-select)
- Resolved dozens of known CVEs
- Migrated to Node 22 + TypeScript 5
- Upgraded our Python to 3.12 to leverage the newest security patches, performance improvements and compatibility with modern libraries
What this means in practice
By upgrading our frontend engine, backend runtime, and dropping legacy baggage, we’ve cleared the path for faster feature development, more robust performance under pressure, and fewer unexpected bugs. Everyday actions like switching views, submitting forms, or working with high-volume data now happen with less friction and greater consistency.
Behind the scenes, our development team can now move faster and with more confidence. These upgrades give us access to the latest tooling, better testing capabilities, and a future-proof foundation, making it easier to deliver improvements that are both impactful and secure.
What you should expect
You won’t see a redesigned interface or flashy new feature here, and that’s exactly the point. This was a behind-the-scenes investment in long-term stability, security, and speed. For teams operating in high-stakes, compliance-heavy environments, it means peace of mind: every package we depend on is actively maintained, auditable, and secure by today’s standards.
