Working with Relational Records
Relational records allow you to create and manage parent and child relationships between Object records.
These relationships help users organise information across related Object classes, such as customers and orders, employees and contracts, or matters and documents.
The articles below explain how to create, associate, and work with related records from within the Workspace.

Things to remember
- Parent and child relationships must be configured using the Relational Modeller before they can be used in the Workspace.
- Child Object classes must be added to the Create and Edit View of the parent Object class.
- Your permissions determine which related records you can view and interact with.
- Related records can be navigated directly from parent records without leaving the Workspace.
