Create task actor
This release is all about simplifying and optimizing your workflow automation experience.
We have removed the Task templates section with the list of available task templates from the side panel. Instead, we introduce the Create task actor.
Overview
Configuring tasks is now more intuitive than ever. No more endless scrolling through a sea of templates.
The Create task actor comes with an intelligent autocomplete search feature. Type in your desired task template, and the results will appear instantly.
Behavior
When a task actor is executed for a given record, the Sequencer creates the corresponding task if it does not already exist.
If the Create task actor is left without any task template selected, the sequence execution engine halts at the actor, preventing unintended actions.
Events and conditions
Task actors trigger events such as Task created and Task completed, providing valuable insights for your workflow automation.
You can also define various conditions to enhance event handling further.
