What is the Sequencer?
The Sequencer is the workflow engine within Autologyx. It is where you build and run your automated processes.
Access
You will be able to access the sequencer if:
- You have a super admin account type
- You have a config admin account type and a role which gives create and/or edit sequence permissions
What the Sequencer does
You can select one of the Object classes you have already created and use the Task templates you have configured, together with the sequence actors, to ensure that the right people are involved at the right time and are presented with appropriate tasks and communications.
The Sequencer can handle thousands of processes, events, tasks and communication.
It can switch from one route or process to another, depending on the response it gets back from a User or third party system, and can be used to track expiry dates so that reminders are sent out well in advance.
Main features
The main features of the Sequencer are:
- Drag and drop interface
- Processes can be triggered to commence under various circumstances: creation of Records, Records being updated, addition or removal of child records, and when certain points in a "main" process have been reached, other sequences can be activated
- Ability to create “intelligent” pathways based on changing Record data, completion of a task or response from a third party system via an API call, etc
- Send bespoke messages to internal and external users and third parties who never log in
- Ability to connect to 3rd party systems via API
- Use of Authentication objects to ensure optimum security when connecting to third party systems
- Use of "Actors" to assist in getting, managing and processing data
