How do I create a test user account?
This article explains how to create test user accounts in Catalyst.
Microsite 365 plus addressing
Plus addressing is enabled in Microsoft 365. This means you can create an unlimited number of test email addresses that all deliver to your own inbox. There is no setup required.
When creating an account in Catalyst, simply use the correct format for your email address, for example:
[firstname.lastname+anything@yourdomain.com](mailto:firstname.lastname+anything@yourdomain.com)initiallastname+anything@yourdomain.co.uk
or whatever is appropriate.
Examples
All emails sent to these addresses will arrive in your normal inbox.
Alternative mailbox providers
Most mailbox providers have plus addressing enabled by default, so clients can usually use the same approach when testing.
Alternatively, we recommend clients use a secure alternative such as MailSlurp.
